Question 1 - How do I return or exchange my item?

  • Not satisfied? Returns are easy!
  • Return within 14 days of receipt
  • Within 2-8 working days the new item at home (Rest of Europe and worldwide 2 to 10 days)
  • No shipping costs for the new item

Do you want to credit or exchange the item for a different size or color? Then you only have to go through these two steps:

  1. Fill in the return form and send it to [email protected]. In your package you will find a slip on which you can write your order number and name, add this to your return package. Here you will find our return conditions.

    Can't find this slip? No problem. Write your name and order number on a note and add this to the item in the box or bag.

  2. After approval of our customer service on your e-mail, you bring the return shipment, which meets our return conditions, to a package point. Via these links you will find the nearest PostNL parcel point, DHL parcel point and DPD parcel point in your area. You can send the package to the address below:

    If our return conditions are not met, costs will be charged to the buyer.

As soon as we have received and checked your shipment, you will receive an email. Is it a credit? Then you will receive an email from us with the credit invoice. Is it an exchange? We will then contact you via email. If your package meets all return conditions, you will receive the new item back at home within 2 to 8 working days after receipt of your return in our branch (Rest of Europe and worldwide 2 to 10 days). You don’t pay shipping costs for this, you will receive these from 71workx! (Except for countries outside the EU). Note: The costs of the return shipment are for your account.

Returns to our location
If you live close to 71workx.com, you can of course also return the item to our location in consultation (we are not a physical store). This way you do not pay any postage costs for the return.

We are located in Wezep Rondweg 4 the Netherlands. You’re welcome from Monday to Friday between 08.45 AM and 16.15 PM. Do you want to exchange the item at our location? Please let us know first by email or telephone.

Question 2 - What are your return conditions?

At 71workx we use a return period of 14 days. You can feel, try on and view the products as in a physical store, but return and package them neatly as you received them. The following conditions apply:

  • You do not have the item for longer than 14 days after receiving your package;
  • The items are unused and undamaged;
  • The items are clean, as delivered. No hair (such as but not specifically: dog, cat hair, etc.), no stains (such as, but not specifically: make-up stains, deodorant, grease, oil, grease, dust, etc.);
  • The items are provided with the original attached cards and packaging;
  • You pack the items in an outer box or bag. (For shoes, pack them in the shoe box and then an outer box/bag as supplied);
  • The products are not personalized (by means of printing or embroidery)

    As you understand, some items cannot be returned:
  • Hygiene items such as underwear whose seal has been broken after delivery cannot be returned;

If our return conditions are not met, costs will be charged. When the return item is returned contaminated by the buyer, costs will be charged to clean the item. If the item can no longer be cleaned, it will not be returned. The item can be collected from us (please contact our customer service first) or we will send it back to the customer (shipping costs are for the customer).

We recommend that you always carefully open the shipping box and the original packaging, so that you can use it again to return the order.

Question 3 - What is your return policy?

71workx gives you the option to return (part of) your order within 14 days after you have received the order. You will find more information about returning your order under the heading 'How do I return or exchange my item'.

Return policy
71workx guarantees a full refund on returned items provided they are in the original condition in which you received them. This means that the returned items must be unworn, unused, and undamaged with all labels attached. The items must not be washed or altered in any way. All returned items will be checked individually at our warehouse. The items you wish to return are your responsibility until we receive them. We ask you to pack the items carefully to prevent any damage during transport. We also advise you to request a shipping receipt at the parcel point to help track your return. You are only liable for the reduction in value of the items resulting from the use of the items beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the items. This depreciation in value may amount to 100%.

We advise you to carefully open the shipping box and the original packaging, so that you can use it again to return the order.

If you would like to exchange your item for a different color or size, please return your unwanted item and follow our return steps under the heading 'How do I return or exchange my item'. Tip: fastest option and assured of your product, place a new order, we will refund the amount of the return within 14 days after cancellation.

If you receive an item in damaged condition, we would like to ask you to send a photo of the damage and the white PO number label on the inside of the garment to [email protected].

Return costs
The return costs depend on the shipping company / parcel point you choose where you have your package returned. View the shipping costs of the relevant shipping company on the site or at the parcel point (examples of shipping companies: PostNL, DHL, DPD).

Legal right of withdrawal
Our return and cancellation policy complies with the requirements of the law. The right of withdrawal only applies to consumers and not to companies.

You must return or hand over the goods to us without delay, but in any case, no later than 14 days after the day on which you informed us of the decision to withdraw from the agreement. You are on time if you return the goods before the period of 14 days has expired.

Consequences of withdrawal
We aim to refund all payments made by you up to the date of withdrawal, including delivery charges**, within 14 days of being notified of your withdrawal decision.

** Do you have the entire order returned? Then you will receive the full amount from us, including the shipping costs. Do you have part of the order returned and the total amount still meets the free shipping? Then you will receive the purchase amount of the items you indicated, excluding the shipping costs. Do you have a part of the order credited, so that the total amount no longer meets the free shipping? Please keep in mind that the shipping costs will be deducted from the amount that we refund.

We will refund the amount of your return to the same payment method you originally used for the transaction, unless otherwise agreed. We may postpone the refund until we receive the items. The return must take place no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract. You are on time if you return the items before the period of 14 days has expired.

14 days trial period
The Distance Selling Act applies to orders placed via the internet. During the trial period, you must handle the items and packaging with care. You may view the products, but not use them. You should only unpack the product to the extent necessary to assess whether you want to keep the product. If the product is used beyond what is necessary to assess the nature, characteristics and functioning of the product, we can pass on the depreciation to you.

If your return is not reported to us within 14 days of receipt of the order, the agreement becomes binding.

Question 4 - How much should I pay for 71workx's shipping and returns?

The shipping costs at 71workx in the Netherlands and Belgium are 6.95 incl. VAT and 5.74 excl. VAT. Outside the Netherlands and Belgium when you spend from €399,- including VAT and €329.75 excl. VAT. Here you can find an overview of the different shipping costs per country.

Question 5 - Why do I have to pay for the delivery and return of my order?

At 71workx we give you the best possible price for an item. We give clear insights on the true cost when you place an order and make a return. This way you can clearly see what you are paying for. We believe in transparency and therefore we ask for the true cost of delivering and returning an item. We hope that this will make our customers more mindful when shopping and avoid making unnecessary purchases since conscious is a shared responsibility.

The process of returning an item contains many steps not directly visible to you. It includes reversed shipping, inspecting the item, possibly cleaning or repairing, repackaging and then putting the item back on stock, before it’s put back online in order to be matched to a new owner. With the whole return process being out of sight, it is easy to forget how many hands, environmental impact and costs are involved in this process. Therefore, it's our goal to make 100% of returned items sellable again.

How is this linked to our purpose from a conscious perspective?
Returns are unfortunately still a significant problem in the fashion industry, with millions of returned clothes ending up discarded or destroyed every year. This is also due to the fact that the process of inspecting, and when needed, cleaning and repairing an item, is generally more expensive from a financial perspective than just getting rid of products. At 71workx, we want to avoid this by processing a return with all the care required to make sure every single item gets what it deserves to give it another chance on our platform and find a suitable owner.

Together, we can make sure all clothing is worn, as well as the items you return.

Question 6 - Where can I find a return form?

Download your return form here. Fill in the return form and email it to [email protected]. Wait for an agreement from our customer service and follow the further return steps under the heading 'How do I return or exchange my item?'.

Question 7 - Can I exchange my item(s)?

If you would like to exchange your item for a different color or size, please return your unwanted item(s) and follow the further return steps under the heading 'How do I return or exchange my item?'. Tip: fastest option and assured of your product, place a new order, we will refund the amount of the return within 14 days after cancellation.

The customer is responsible for the costs that need to be made for exchanging an item. If you are returning your entire order, we will also refund the shipping costs.

Question 8 - What is my return status?

You can check the status of your return via the track & trace of your return. As soon as we have received and checked your shipment (can take 5 working days), you will receive an email. Is it a credit? Then you will receive an email from us with the credit invoice. Is it an exchange? We will then contact you via email. If your package meets all return conditions, you will receive the new item back at home within 2 to 8 working days after receipt of your return in our branch. You do not pay shipping costs for this, you will receive these from 71workx! Note: The costs of the return shipment are for your account.

Question 9 - The item(s) I ordered were sold out; when will I get my money back?

It is possible that an item in your order is no longer available, even when you have already placed your order. This can happen because you ordered the last item at the same time as another member. We apologize for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

You will be notified via email and the purchase amount will be refunded to your account within 1-3 business days. If you were not notified, please contact our customer service.

Question 10 - Can I still cancel or change my return?

Have you registered a return but still want to keep the products? Then you don't have to do anything! If you have not yet sent your return shipment to us and we have not received anything, nothing can be returned or credited. Do you want to change something about your return?
