Hellberg Safety - Hearing protection
No hearing protection is suitable for every work environment, so you should choose hearing protection that is suitable for the actual sound environment in which you work. This way you can be sure of the right damping for your specific situation. You also need to consider the length of time you will be exposed to the noise. If you don't wear protection all the time, you can suffer irreparable hearing damage.
Comfort and ease of use motivate you to always keep your hearing protection on. Listening to your favorite entertainment keeps you relaxed and gets the job done more efficiently. With active listening you are always in contact with your environment and yet protected against harmful noise. You are alert to warning signs and can communicate with others around you at the same time.
Xstream
Hellberg introduces the new hearing protector: Xstream. The Xstream offers excellent hi-fi sound quality thanks to the new patented speaker design. The hearing protector connects effortlessly via Bluetooth® to a phone for easy music streaming and wireless phone calls.
Hearing protection has always been our top priority at Hellberg, but with Xstream we also wanted to create a great listening experience. “With the Xstream, you don't have to compromise between professional hearing protection or excellent sound,” said Fredrik Eriksson, R&D Manager at Hellberg Safety.
With the built-in speech microphone it is possible to make calls easily, possibly with the help of the voice assistant on your phone. A gooseneck microphone is also available as an accessory to improve speech quality in extreme noise.
Active listening
Hellberg Xstream is available in two different versions. A basic version for streaming and a version with the additional functionality "Active Listening", so that the user can hear warning signals and human speech from the immediate surroundings while wearing it and thus remain alert. Both versions are available with a headband or with plug-in fastening for safety helmets.
USB
Xstream has a built-in rechargeable Li-Ion battery with a usage time of up to 50 hours. A USB charging cable is included as standard and can be connected to a USB phone adapter. The Xstream can also be charged via a USB connection in, for example, a car or PC.
