Warranty & Repair
Question 1 - My item is damaged, what should I do?
It is possible that one of the products, despite our care for the products, is damaged by, for example, the delivery. Is a product damaged? Then we would like to ask you to send a photo of the damage and the white label with PO number on the inside of the clothing to [email protected]. We recommend that you check the correctness and condition of the delivered products upon receipt of your order. Even if you have not received the correct product, we ask if you can return it to us.
Legal Warranty
71WorkX strives to deliver only articles of excellent quality. In the unlikely event that you have to invoke the legal warranty or manufacturer's warranty, we will come to a suitable solution in consultation with you.
TheLegal Warranty means that the product must be sound. You should be able to use the product in a normal way for a certain amount of time. What you can expect from a product depends on the following: what we as a seller indicate, the brand, the price and whether the product is new or second-hand. Any manufacturer's warranty does not affect the legal warranty.
A product is excluded from warranty under the following circumstances:
- The wear can be considered normal (such as wear on the heels, soles and inside the heel of the shoe
- Changes have been made in or to the product (such as repairs)
- A defect is the result of intensive use
- Damage is caused by intent, gross negligence, or negligent maintenance
- A defect is caused by washing or wearing
- A defect is caused by external influences such as friction, sharp objects or chemicals
- A lack of water and/or wind resistance of shoes or clothing, when this property is not explicitly stated with the product on our website
- There are physical discomforts such as sweating or blisters that may have been caused by the product
- Improper use than in daily use may be assumed as a result of which damage has arisen
- Wear as can be expected during normal use
- Products whose damage or defect was known before the product was purchased
Steps to report damage/warranty
- Send us a photo of the damage and the white PO number label on the inside of the item to [email protected].
- Note your order number and name in the email. Wait for a response from our customer service, we will come to a satisfactory solution in consultation with you (provided the damage of the product(s) concerned is excluded from the legal warranty, read the “Legal Warranty” above carefully)

Question 4 - How do I best take care of my new items?
By taking care of your work clothes, you extend the life of your wardrobe. So you can enjoy it even longer!
About 25% of a garment's carbon footprint occurs during wear and washing. With our smart tips and tricks you can maximize your wardrobe and be kinder to the planet.
- Wear it more, wash it less: We recommend washing clothes only when absolutely necessary. Washing after a single use is often more of a habit than a hygiene issue. Many garments just need to be aired and stains can often be treated.
- A lower temperature also works: Washing machines and detergents have been developed to clean at a lower temperature than in the past. Heat can break down textile fibers and use more energy, so choose a cooler setting and enjoy your clothes for longer.
- Fill the washer: Unless it's an emergency, a single garment on a full cycle of multiple cycles is a waste of both water and energy. Wait until you have enough laundry to use the machine. However, do not overfill your washing machine. When it is too full, the water cannot wash away the dirt properly, resulting in less clean clothes.
- Skip the dryer: Just as it is better to let your hair dry naturally, so is clothing. It keeps your garments in shape better and can even save you time on ironing if done correctly. For example, use hangers for shirts and tailored items to ensure they dry without getting too many creases.
- Tackle stains right away: If you get a stain on your work clothes, try to treat it immediately. Especially for natural materials such as cotton, linen and wool, which absorb a lot, making it more difficult to treat the stain if it is too soaked.
- Freeze your jeans: Putting your denim in the freezer for a day or two will help keep your jeans in shape and kill bacteria and odors. Is there room next to the ice?
- Take advantage of nature: The sun has natural bleaching properties when it comes to clothing. Hang your white clothes to dry in the sun and take advantage of the natural whiteness.
- Dry wool garments flat: Drying knit items on a flat surface helps them retain their shape. It is best to dry knitted items on a towel to absorb any extra moisture.
- Only iron when you have to: Need another excuse to get out of the ironing? Hang drying instead of tumble drying skips the energy costs of heating and using an iron. If your clothes are already clean and dry, hang them in your bathroom while you shower. The moist air acts a bit like a steamer, reducing creases.
- Refreshing skills: A missing button or minor defect doesn't mean you have to throw your clothes away. It is simply part of the natural life cycle of any item and can be easily repaired to extend the life of your clothing. Pinterest, YouTube or TikTok are your friends who offer helpful DIY advice. If you are not handy with this, there is always a practical lover or great tailor nearby.
All good things come to an end, including clothing. But with these 10 easy tips you can enjoy your clothes for much longer.
Question 5 - When does the warranty expire?
Wear and tear is relevant to the warranty on a product. If it is normal for certain aspects of a product to wear out, this is not covered by the warranty unless the wear occurs quickly. There is no guarantee in the following cases:
- The wear can be considered normal (such as wear on the heels, soles and inside the heel of the shoe)
- Changes have been made in or to the product (such as repairs)
- A defect is the result of intensive use
- Damage is caused by intent, gross negligence or negligent maintenance
- A defect is caused by washing or wearing
- A defect is caused by external influences such as friction, sharp objects or chemicals
- A lack of water and/or wind resistance of shoes or clothing, when this property is not explicitly stated with the product on our website
- There are physical discomforts such as sweating or blisters that may have been caused by the product
- Improper use than in daily use may be assumed as a result of which damage has arisen
- Wear as can be expected during normal use
- Products whose damage or defect was known before the product was purchased
