High-cut S3 safety shoe with BOA closure - Grisport

No loose laces, while still allowing you to quickly achieve a precise fit. This version of the Grisport 903 combines a BOA closure with a steel safety toe cap and steel midsole for work where protection and ease of use need to come together. The scuff cap protects the front during kneeling and crawling work, while the PU/rubber outsole is certified for contact heat, slip resistance and fuel oil resistance, among other requirements. Together, these features create a technically equipped high-cut S3 safety shoe for a wide range of working environments.

• BOA closure: The BOA system allows you to precisely adjust the closure using a dial, without having to tie traditional laces.
• Steel safety toe cap: The safety toe cap protects your toes against mechanical risks within the S3 requirements.
• Steel midsole: The metal midsole forms a protective barrier against sharp objects that could penetrate the shoe from underneath.
• SC scuff cap: The protective scuff cap covers the front of the shoe and meets the SC requirement for abrasion resistance of the scuff cap.
• FO - fuel-oil-resistant outsole: The outsole is FO certified and therefore meets the requirements for resistance to fuel oil under EN ISO 20345:2022. The outsole is designed to resist deterioration from the fuel oil used within this certification test, helping it retain its properties during work where contact with such fuel oil may occur.
• HI: The shoe meets the additional requirement for heat insulation, helping to limit heat transfer through the sole construction.
• HRO: The outsole is resistant to short-term contact with surfaces up to 300°C.
• SR: The shoe meets the additional slip resistance test of EN ISO 20345:2022. Slip resistance remains dependent on the surface and conditions.
• Antistatic: The antistatic properties help limit the build-up of electrostatic charge. This does not make the safety shoe electrically insulating.
• Removable insole: The insole can be removed from the safety shoe when you want to air, clean or replace it.

HRO

HRO is a rating for outsoles that are resistant to short-term contact heat up to 300°C. This is relevant for work where the outsole may temporarily come into contact with hot surfaces such as asphalt, metal or industrial floors. The HRO property specifically applies to the certified outsole and does not mean that the entire safety shoe is indefinitely resistant to high temperatures.
